The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the Constable (GD) Examination 2026 for recruitment in various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Assam Rifles, and Secretariat Security Force (SSF). This year, a total of 25,487 vacancies have been released for both male and female candidates.

Eligible candidates who have completed 10th Standard (Matriculation) can apply online through the official SSC portal. The selection process includes a Computer-Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination, and Document Verification.

The exam consists of 80 questions for 160 marks, covering Reasoning, General Knowledge, Mathematics, and English/Hindi. PET/PST standards vary for male and female candidates with relaxation for special categories.
