About the IIITDM Kancheepuram Summer Internship 2026 Program

Eligibility Criteria
Students from institutions other than IIITDM Kancheepuram are eligible.
Academic Requirements:
B.Sc – Completed 4th semester
B.E./B.Tech./B.Des./B.Arch – Completed 6th semester
Integrated M.E./M.Tech (Dual Degree) – Completed 6th or 8th semester
M.E./M.Tech./M.Des./M.Arch./M.Sc – Completed 2nd semester
Academic Performance Requirements:
Minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in all examinations from 10th standard onward
Must be among top 20% in the institution/university (certified by HoD/Institute Head)
Strong academic background preferred
Research papers, projects, competitions, Olympiad ranks, awards will be given preference
Students with external agency fellowship are also eligible to apply.

A maximum of 103 internship positions are available.
Only one intern per faculty mentor will be allotted under this program.

Resume (Maximum 2 pages)
Grade sheets (10th, 12th, UG & PG – all available semesters)
Proof of top 20% certification from HoD/Institute
Bonafide cum Endorsement certificate (in specified format)
